The Asian Wild Ass
Today's Animal of the Day is the Asian Wild Ass, a large equid found in the Middle East, India, and Mongolia. It is similar to a donkey, though a bit larger at roughly 7 feet in length and 650 pounds. The Asian Wild Ass changes color with the seasons; its fur is red-brown during the summer and light brown during the winter.
