The Bearded Seal

How you doin'
Today's Animal of the Day is the Bearded Seal. Since it's a seal, there's nothing especially remarkable about it; it's a fat grey thing that waddles around the Arctic eating shellfish while getting eaten by polar bears. It is the largest Arctic seal, growing to about 7.5 feet in length and 700 lbs in weight, and is also unique in that it has killer facial hair - its whiskers are the most prominent and abundant of any seal species.
